Alanna has experience working with children and families as a psychologist in health services, and in private practice, where she provided both assessments and therapy. She has previously worked and volunteered in the early intervention sector for over seven years. She is passionate about using assessments to support children and their families to prepare for milestones, and about supporting children who may have additional needs. Alanna uses a strengths-based, transdiagnostic approach to therapy. She draws from CBT, ACT, and DBT, in addition to attachment-based therapies. Alanna sees children, teens, and families therapeutically, and has treated anxiety, phobias, low mood, trauma, self-harm, and behavioural difficulties. She is also interested in peri- and post-natal psychology.

Amanda has significant experience in both the private  and public health sectors, having worked professionally with children and families since 1999. Previously, she has worked with adults and their families experiencing serious psychiatric illness. Amanda has also provided individual and group treatments for anxious children, working with the Macquarie University Centre for Emotional Health in Sydney.

With strong skills in anxiety management,  individual therapy, and using a family approach to treating emotional and behavioural difficulties, Amanda is committed to supporting her clients to make change.

Rani has extensive experience supporting and treating children, adolescents and adults across a range of psychological difficulties.  Rani has worked for several years in private practice, and previously in hospital and community health settings, supporting children and teenagers experiencing medical and psychological difficulties.

Rani is particularly interested in working with children and teens with anxiety and mood challenges, such as worry, panic, obsessions and compulsions, phobias, depression, bipolar disorder, and self harm behaviours.  She also has experience supporting children and young people with eating disorders, medical issues, and other complexities.  Rani is adept at supporting children within their family relationships, and works directly with parents and families to promote appropriate and healthy relationships between family members.

Rani achieves change with families through use of therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and family therapies.

Jane has had extensive experience working with a wide range of clients in a variety of areas, such as Community Health, Division of General Practitioners, Non-Government Organisations, Private Practice and supervising/training post graduate Clinical Masters Students at a University Psychology Clinic.  She has a special interest and expertise in Adolescent and Family Psychology, having specialised in this field for many years.

Jane utilises an evidence-based approach in treatment, which includes Cognitive Behaviour and Family based therapies. She is particularly passionate about treating child and adolescent anxieties such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Social Phobia, Phobias, Separation Anxiety, Panic disorder, and Agoraphobia.

Her goal is to help her clients, both now and in the future, to reach their academic and career potential, and most importantly, to enjoy life, family and friendships.

With many years of experience and a Masters in Clinical Psychology, Jessica has worked across the government, private, and not-for-profit sectors, helping children, adolescents, and adults to address a broad range of emotional, behavioural and relationship difficulties.

Jessica has extensive training and experience, having co-authored and implemented a specialised anxiety treatment program, and presented at the Australian and New Zealand Family Therapy Conference.  She has also worked extensively with schools, legal professionals and other agencies to support families making change.

Jessica feels privileged to have shared the stories of many individuals and families, and is committed to working with clients to discover what matters to them, and to live rich, meaningful and connected lives.

Stephanie is a warm and passionate Clinical Psychology Registrar with experience in both private practice and community mental health. She has worked with children, adults and families facing a range of mental health difficulties including depression, anxiety, attachment issues, behavioural problems, trauma, eating disorders, autism spectrum disorder as well as managing stressful life events and changes in general. Stephanie is dedicated to providing effective, evidence based treatment which is tailored to the specific needs of your child in the most time effective manner. She uses a range of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness Integrated Cognitive Therapy (MICT). Stephanie is committed to continual growth and development as a psychologist and keeps up to date with psychological research to inform her practice to ensure she uses the first-line, most effective treatment. Stephanie is also proficient in psychometric assessment and report writing.

Katerine-Ann is part of our pleasant and caring assistance team,  providing office administration and clinical support to our clinicians.  Katerine-Ann has a passionate interest in this field, having completed her Bachelor of Psychology at Macquarie University, Honors in Psychology at Bond university, and is undertaking her Masters of Clinical Psychology at Bond University.

Melissa is our kind and friendly Office and Clinical Assistant.  Melissa provides administration support for our clinicians, and she will usually be your first point of contact when you enquire with the Northern Beaches offices.  Melissa holds a psychology degree from Macquarie University, is currently undertaking her Honours in Psychology, and has several years experience with office administration and customer service.

Mitchell is part of our support team, responding to your enquiries, and providing office administration and clinical support to our clinicians.  Mitchell is a provisional psychologist and is currently undertaking further studies, completing the Combined Masters and PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology at Macquarie University.  Mitchell has a passion for clinical care and is experienced with supporting clients administratively, and clinically in the hospital setting.
