Amanda has significant experience in both the private and public health sectors, having worked professionally with children and families since 1999, and prior, with adults and their families experiencing serious psychiatric illness. Amanda has also provided individual and group treatments for anxious children, working with the esteemed Macquarie University Centre for Emotional Health in Sydney.

At Kids&CoNB, Amanda uses a range of evidence-based treatments, including cognitive-behavioural therapy and further training in mindfulness, attachment, and parenting support models, when working alongside children, young people and parents to manage a range of concerns and mental health difficulties.

With strong skills in anxiety management,  individual therapy, and using a family approach to treating emotional and behavioural difficulties, Amanda is committed to supporting her clients to make change.

effective treatment and supporting clients to make change. Emma is open to working with
a range of client presentations and is committed to providing an effective, evidence-based
treatment. Emma’s goal is to support young people in improving daily functioning, including
family relationships, friendships, and their schooling experience.

Jane has had extensive experience working with a wide range of clients in a variety of areas, such as Community Health, Division of General Practitioners, Non-Government Organisations, Private Practice and supervising/training post graduate Clinical Masters Students at a University Psychology Clinic.  She has a special interest and expertise in Adolescent and Family Psychology, having specialised in this field for many years.

Jane utilises an evidence-based approach in treatment, which includes Cognitive Behaviour and Family based therapies. She is particularly passionate about treating child and adolescent anxieties such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Social Phobia, Phobias, Separation Anxiety, Panic disorder, and Agoraphobia.

Her goal is to help her clients, both now and in the future, to reach their academic and career potential, and most importantly, to enjoy life, family and friendships.

Jessica has extensive training and experience, having co-authored and implemented a specialised anxiety treatment program, and presented at the Australian and New Zealand Family Therapy Conference.  She has also worked extensively with schools, legal professionals and other agencies to support families making change.

Jessica feels privileged to have shared the stories of many individuals and families, and is committed to working with clients to discover what matters to them, and to live rich, meaningful and connected lives.

Stephanie is a warm and passionate Clinical Psychology Registrar with experience in both private practice and community mental health. She has worked with children, adults and families facing a range of mental health difficulties including depression, anxiety, attachment issues, behavioural problems, trauma, eating disorders, autism spectrum disorder as well as managing stressful life events and changes in general. Stephanie is dedicated to providing effective, evidence based treatment which is tailored to the specific needs of your child in the most time effective manner. She uses a range of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness Integrated Cognitive Therapy (MICT). Stephanie is committed to continual growth and development as a psychologist and keeps up to date with psychological research to inform her practice to ensure she uses the first-line, most effective treatment. Stephanie is also proficient in psychometric assessment and report writing.

Taylor has experience in both private and not for profit sectors, having worked professionally with children, adolescents and families in clinical and school environments. Through her previous work, she has developed strong assessment and therapeutic skills to assist with a broad array of presentations including; anxiety, low mood, emotion regulation, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning difficulties and challenging behaviours (across home and school contexts).

Working within a Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) framework predominantly, Taylor also draws from other therapeutic modalities like Acceptance and Commitment and Play Therapies to tailor intervention to meet your specific needs. She aims to empower the individual through therapy, while simultaneously supporting families and third parties to make effective change.

Thomas is a registered Psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents and families both privately and as a part of an Non Government Organisation. He has experience working with a range of client presentations, including neurodevelopmental disorders (such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), anxiety, depression, and attachment difficulties. Thomas understands the need to take a dynamic approach to tailoring treatment for each individual. He strives to meet the unique needs of young people and their families by integrating various evidence-based therapeutic approaches. In particular, Thomas utilises Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Play-Based Treatment and Solution Focused Therapy. Thomas aims to provide a unique therapeutic experience for each client and work collaboratively in meeting therapeutic goals.

Mandy is a member of our administration team and in addition to responding to your enquiries, provides office administration and support for our clinicians.  Mandy holds a degree in Accounting and has significant reception and customer service experience, along with sales and administration skills.  Mandy experiences a great deal of enjoyment interacting with people, and has a warm and professional approach. Mandy is currently completing a Masters in Counselling with the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors.

Melissa is our kind and friendly Office and Clinical Assistant.  Melissa provides administration support for our clinicians, and she will usually be your first point of contact when you enquire with the Northern Beaches offices.  Melissa holds a psychology degree from Macquarie University, is currently undertaking her Honours in Psychology, and has several years experience with office administration and customer service.
