Mirjana (Mikki) is a Psychologist and researcher with experience supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children, adolescents, and families. Alongside her clinical work, she has led and contributed to numerous research projects focused on the prevention and early intervention of anxiety, depression, and sleep difficulties in children and young people.
Mikki has worked across a range of clinical, research, and community settings, with a particular interest in supporting children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, low mood, emotion regulation difficulties, sleep concerns, stress, self-esteem challenges, and adjustment difficulties.
Mikki is passionate about working collaboratively with young people and their families to develop personalised treatment plans that reflect each persons strengths, needs, and goals. Her approach is warm, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and parent-focused interventions. Mikki strives to create a supportive therapeutic environment where children and adolescents feel understood and empowered to build resilience, confidence, and practical skills to navigate life's challenges.
