Sam is a psychologist who has a passion for working with young people and their families. She has had training in Child and Family Psychology, and has experience working in complex mental health, neurodevelopmental, trauma and youth justice settings with children, adolescents and their families. Sam draws on evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also has training in Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) and in the administration of specific assessment tools such as the ADOS-2 for Autism Spectrum Disorder, and the WISC-V and WPPSI-IV for cognitive assessments.

Sam is dedicated to creating a positive, compassionate and trusting environment that supports and encourages meaningful change. Sam acknowledges the unique differences of each child, family and their wider system and aims to tailor each approach to these individual needs.
