Dr. Kate Renshall

Kate is a Clinical Psychologist, who is experienced in working with children, young people and their families. She has worked in the public health sector in both Canada and Australia with adolescents and their families experiencing complex and chronic psychiatric, emotional and behavioural problems. Kate also has experience working with families in the out-of-home care system (foster, kinship or adoption) and has worked with both children and parents to assist with the management of trauma and attachment related concerns. Prior to becoming a psychologist Kate worked at a school for children with autism spectrum disorders and has a special interest in working with these young people and their families.

Kate’s approach is warm, practical and strengths-based. She works collaboratively with children, young people and their families to develop strategies that help everyone feel more in control of their emotions and behaviour.
