Geoff Francis

Geoff has been working with children, adolescents, adults and families for over 7 years in various organisations. This includes working in various roles in Queensland, New South Wales and Overseas in a range of diverse and challenging environments. Geoff enjoys working with children and young people and is skilled in assessing, diagnosing and treating  a range of psychiatric, emotional and behavioural difficulties. He uses a variety of techniques including solution focused therapy, narrative therapy, behaviour modification, cognitive behaviour therapy, ACT, and attachment based interventions, and is trained in the use of many psychometric measures. Geoff’s areas of interest include school refusal, exam anxiety, general anxiety, oppositional behaviour, gender related issues, depression, psychosis, family attachment issues, relationship issues, complex mental health and trauma-related emotional problems. Geoff is passionate about supporting everyday families with the challenges related to parenting and raising healthy happy kids.
