In addition to private practice, Gabrielle has worked in a paediatric hospital, community health settings and a non-government organisation providing psychological assessment and interventions for a wide range of developmental and mental health difficulties.

Gabrielle has a commitment to changing the short and long term outcomes for children and families. She has a particular interest in working with young children (2-5 years), children with a trauma background and in working with children who have been adopted or living in out of home care. In addition she has experience in the assessment and diagnosis of a range of neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism and ADHD.

At Kids & Co, Gabrielle uses a range of treatments, including cognitive-behavioural therapy, trauma informed practice (Phase 2 certified NMT clinician) and has further training in attachment, parenting support (Circle of Security facilitator, Marte meo and Parent-child interaction therapy). Gabrielle has also completed the Professional Diploma in Therapeutic Lifestory work and uses this approach in helping children and young people who can’t live with their birth parents. Gabrielle also has extensive experience in training and consultancy with schools and agencies around supporting children with very challenging behaviour.

Gabrielle knows that every child and every family is different and will need an individualised approach. Building emotional regulation to support relationships and effective learning is at the core of her approach.
