Insha is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology from India. Insha brings eight years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and their families. She has worked extensively across a range of developmental and emotional challenges, including separation anxiety, selective mutism, generalised anxiety, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-
deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), intellectual disability, and other behavioural and cognitive concerns.
Insha’s approach centres on understanding each individuals' unique personality and perspective, aiming to create an environment where children and young people can share their experiences in ways that are comfortable for them, whether verbally or non-verbally. Her approach emphasises both
empowerment and empathy, helping individuals build awareness and confidence in how they relate to and engage with the world around them.
With a strong background in early intervention, Insha works with children as young as two years old through to adolescence. She tailors her therapeutic approach to meet each person’s needs, drawing on evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), play therapy, solution-focused therapy (SFT), family-based interventions, and parent support sessions.
Insha brings a creative and adaptive approach to her work, enabling her to build meaningful connections with a wide range of personalities. She is dedicated to supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, developmental progress, and the strengthening of family relationships through compassionate, collaborative care.
