Rebecca is dedicated to creating a warm, safe and supportive environment for children, adolescents and their families to build meaningful connections and develop the skills needed to thrive. She works collaboratively with clients, respecting their choices, believing in their potential, and compassionately addressing their challenges. Rebecca holds a Master of Clinical Psychology (awarded with Distinction) and has experience supporting culturally diverse populations across a variety of community settings.
Rebecca has a special interest in working with children and families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She has facilitated autism-friendly parenting programs, including strategies for managing challenging behaviours, enhancing social skills, and fostering emotional regulation. She draws on evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), attachment-based approaches, and mindfulness practices. Rebecca is committed to tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each child and their family, helping them navigate challenges, build resilience, and nurture emotional well-being.
