Tess is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who completed her clinical training with the University of Technology Sydney, Monash University, and the University of New South Wales.
She has over 5 years of experience in mental health care and has worked with
children, adolescents, and families in not-for-profit organisations, university-based settings, school-based settings, and outpatient hospital facilities. These experiences have allowed Tess to work with a range of presentations including depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, neurodiversity, emotion-regulation difficulties, and behavioural difficulties. They have also strengthened her commitment and desire to help young people lead happier, healthier, and more productive lives.
Tess’ practice draws from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive
Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy. As a person-
centred therapist, Tess is passionate about tailoring each therapeutic intervention to clients’ unique needs and goals.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and authentic, and she is dedicated to creating an environment in which young individuals and their families feel comfortable to explore, understand, and address challenges that may be interfering with their daily lives.
